It's decorating time...

Christmas always comes early in our humble little abode. As in the day after Halloween. But since we were in Washington for Halloween this year, Christmas set up had to wait until Nov 9th which was a little too long for comfort but whaddya do?!

It's a tradition that we each get our own cheapie Advent calendar.

Every year we get a picture frame ornament with the year monogrammed on it and then put in a picture of whatever the biggest event for us as a couple from that year was. So this year either a picture of us finding out we were pregnant, or if Peanut decides she wants to be born in 2008, we'll put in a picture of the 3 of us at her birth. We figure after many more years of marriage, we'll be able to just have a tree with just picture frame ornaments all over it and it'll be cool to see that all the changes we have gone through as a family will be respresented on there and our grandchildren can see how their parents have changed over the years.

But apparently it was a little too heavy. Honig eventually jimmied it on there and it stays put now.
