Swing batter batter!!!!

BASEBALL!!!! The great American pastime.

Last night, Dean and I went on a date to a minor league baseball game here in Davenport. They're called the Swing of the Quad Cities and we had such a good time. The weather was PERFECT and we had front row seats right behind the hometeam dugout. Sadly, out team got whooped on, but it was still fun.

They had 3 parachuters land on the field before the game began. One had an American flag attached to him, another had a smoke machine on him so he could make shapes as he descended, and the other guy, well, he was just a normal parachuter.

A nice man behind us took this of us after Dean and I were on the jumbo vision. We got to kiss in front of 2,000 people on the big screen. We were on it one other time when we were dancing to a song.

They had an awesome fireworks show after the game. It was actially pretty impressive. Lasted at least 10 minutes.


Then Dean and I got some delicious Whitey's Ice Cream after the game and ate it outside on a bench. Mmmmmmm, I had a scoop of Moosetrack ice cream and Dean had a black raspberry malt. I liked his more than mine so he was a sweetie and let me have some of his and he finished my ice cream because it was too rich.

It was a great night. I love my husband. He is my life.

Our new camera

For anyone that really really knows Dean and I, you know that we have no shame returning or exchanging any and everything. We decided we weren't happy with our digital camera while we were on vacation because it took 10 seconds for the flash to recharge itself before you could take another picture so we took it back to Sam's Club yesterday and exchanged it for a cute little Casio Exilim and it is by far our favorite camera we've had yet. Ain't she a beaut?...

What a sweetie!

Dean is such a sweetie. He got out of school uber early today and suprised me at home with these flowers and a card explaining what each of the flowers meant. I would have cried but our friend Keven showed up 2 seconds before I read it, and I am not big on crying in front of other people. I would have though, had he not been there.

I feel so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man. He does stuff like this all the time without even thinking twice about it. We have a phenomenal marriage, are each other's best friend, laugh all the time, still are as touchy feely as when we first started dating, can't sleep without the other one next to us, always always always kiss eachother good night and good morning, say "I love you" ALL the time, hold hands everywhere we go, talk about any and everything without holding back, love to travel together, and cuddle any chance we get. He is my life.
