It is so mother lovin' hot outside today, and all I want in this whole wide world is to go swimming in a chilled pool. Even the cruddy Mississippi River is starting to look inviting to take a dip in. But I will just have to splash around in my itty bitty bathtub instead.

No, there is nothing worth getting in the nasty Mississippi River. No amount of heat-related discomfort is worth the staph infections that would result from dipping even a toe in the river.
